  David Misencik, Co-Owner

  David Misencik is a Co-Owner of Avenger and has over 21 years of experience in the aircraft industry as a stress and damage tolerance engineer. David has an FAA DER Delegation for full airframe structural design, static strength, fatigue and damage tolerance for FAR’s Part 23, Part 25, and Part 26. He started his career at Boeing in Everett, Washington and has worked for other OEMs such as Gulfstream and Lockheed. David has also worked for several modification facilities.   James Burd, Co-Owner

  James Burd is a Co-Owner of Avenger and has over 24 years of experience in the aircraft industry as a stress and damage tolerance engineer. He has FAA DER Delegation for full airframe structural design, static strength, fatigue and damage tolerance for FAR’s Part 23, Part 25, and Part 26. James started his career in the USAF which culminated in being selected as the ASIP manager for the C-5 aircraft. Since then, he has worked at Gulfstream Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman. James graduated from North Carolina State University in 1987 with a BS in Aerospace Engineering.

  Will Ridgway, VP of Engineering

  Will Ridgway has been in the Aerospace industry for over 17 years, and serves as one of Avenger’s Engineering Group Leads. Will provides guidance and technical expertise over various company programs and has FAA DER Delegation for full airframe structural design, static strength, fatigue and damage tolerance for FAR’s Part 23, and Part 25. Will worked for Gulfstream Aerospace for 12 years before being selected for the Avenger Team. Will graduated from The Citadel in 1994 with a BS in Civil Engineering and worked at Gulfstream Aerospace.

  Manufacturing Leadership Team

  Andrew Misencik, Director of Operations

  With over 30 years in Operations and Purchasing Logistics, Andrew is the Director of Operations for Avenger Aircraft’s Manufacturing Facility.
